The Member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has inaugurated three multi-purpose community centers at New Winneba, New Ateitu, and Bambrimto all in the Effutu Constituency

The community centers would be for social and other gatherings for the people in the communities.

According to Honorable Afenyo-Markin, the inauguration of the community centers was in fulfillment of a campaign promise he made to the people, prior to the 2020 general election.

At the new Atietu community, Hon. Afenyo – Markin gave praises to the Assemblywoman, Awo Sena, the MCE for the area, Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, the chiefs, and all the people for their support and contribution to the development in the area.

Mr. Afenyo-Markin reiterated his pledge to get a paper factory constructed at New Winneba to create employment opportunities for the teeming youth of the area and the constituency as a whole.

At new Winneba, Honorable Afenyo-Markin assured the chiefs and the people of Effutu that he will place the region at the apex of his agenda by serving his constituents in truth and humility to better their lives.

He further assured the chief and the people of new Winneba to upgrade the road linking the paper factory into an asphalt road and promise a new library complex that will be commissioned before Christmas to improve the standard of education in the area.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, lauded Mr. Afenyo-Markin for his exemplary leadership, which continued to draw development projects to the area.

He appealed to the chiefs and people of the three communities to cultivate the maintenance culture to keep the facilities, adding that the assembly would always collaborate with the MP for more development in the municipality.
