The injuncted Member of Parliament for Assin North, James Gyakye Quayson has filed a review application at the Supreme Court against its earlier ruling restraining him from performing his parliamentary duties.

The apex court in a majority decision on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, granted an interlocutory injunction against the embattled MP and ordered him not to carry out his parliamentary duties anymore until the final determination of the suit against him.

But documents sighted by Oman news have revealed that the MP through his lawyers has filed a review application which is expected to be moved on May 17, 2022.
