Ministry of Public Enterprises has launched Public Enterprises League Table (PELT) it is a first-ever awards ceremony for Public Enterprises with the goal of achieving profitability, efficiency and economy since no entity would want to become last or sacked.

The Sector Minister Hon Joseph Cudjoe who doubles as an MP for Effia Constituency in the Western Region spoke to Oman News.

He further explained the areas that would be used as an indicator to measure performance.

This includes Financial, Innovation, Efficiency and management.

In another development, Director General for State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) Ambassador Edward Boateng, welcome the PELT Award and stated it will help improve the performance contract agreement signed with the specified entities.

And More importantly, it will help the GDP growth of the country.
