Chairman for the National Media Commission Mr. Yaw Boadu Ayeboafo has highlighted the need for all Ghanaian citizens to have access to all needed public information.

Addressing the Media at a sensitization program championed by the Right to Information Commission at Golden Tulip Kumasi today, Mr. Ayeboafo disclosed that the right to information law permits the Ghanaian citizen, especially the Media to seek all necessary information from whatsoever public or public-private institutions for proper information dissemination.

 

However, the former MP for Offinso South Hon Ben Abdallah Banda, who was a guest at the program disclosed that the law is a very important one that will influence transparency and proper accountability at the various institutions.
