Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has apologized to the road contractor  for allegedly ordering some persons to physically assault him and other road construction workers at Adjiringanor in Accra.

The early hours saw circulated pictures of an official complaint the contractor, identified as Kennedy Acquah, had lodged at the East Legon Police station.

The contractor was reported to have been assaulted by thugs hired by the artiste, an incident which went viral on social media.

The musician initially denied but later took to his social media in a swift turn to take responsibility and apologized.

Shatta Wale in his apology  said,  “The one in question is my dad, my friend, somebody that I always wanted to meet, it is so unfortunate things had to happen this way. I also want to say sorry to Kennedy (the project engineer) for everything that happened. I believe he will also find a place in his heart to forgive me.”

He debunked claims of issuing GHȻ4 million to the contractor to undertake the road construction project and advised bloggers to desist from circulating false news on social media.
