The Hon. Minister for health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has assured Ghanaians that , there shall be completion of many projects in the health sector come 2020.

He made these these declaration at the floor of Parliament when members were deliberating on budget estimate for his ministry for the year 2020 and urged members of Parliament for the approval of Ghc 6,587,092,477 Ghana cedis to carry out their mandate in the coming year.

The minister mentioned some of the projects that would be tackled and complete them as the Regional hospital in Kumasi, Twufo Praso general hospital, Konongo Odumase, Tepa general hospital, Nsokor government hospital.

Mr . Agyemang Manu went on to mention the Bekwai general hospital which was started during Ghana first President era, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is also been tacked currently and would be reaching it completion by next year, he also touched on Upper East regional hospital by furnishing it with the needed equipment and would also be completed by the first quarter of next year, 2020.

The the ranking member on the Health committee and a member of Parliament for Djuaboso, Kwabena Minta Akando in supporting for the approval of the budget point out number of challenges the committee realized at the health sector.

He said, there is a delay of payment of National Health Insurance is affecting the sector and gradually taking us back to cash and carry and therefore call on the government and the minister to release the money on time for efficient delivery at the government and private health outlets for the benefit of Ghanaians.
