The second edition of made in Ghana Bazaar Extravaganza has been opened in Accra.
The program is hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration which is currently ongoing at the Accra International Conference Center.
Speaking to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey , she said the event is strategically designed to harness the efforts of our local industries, especially small and medium scale enterprises in Ghana to obtain global recognition.
According to her the Ministry seeks to achieve this goal, by using the network of diplomatic mission abroad and engagement with Foreign Diplomatic Missons resident in Ghana.
Mrs Shirley Ayorkor in an interview with Oman Fm, she said Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, to industrialise Ghana within the broader view of reducing our reliance on aid and placing the country on a pedestal that will enable Ghana effectively trade for gains with our trading partners.
Furthermore, Mrs Botchway said they envisage to use the Made in Ghana Bazaar Extravaganza to contribute positively towards achieving the Ghana Beyond Aid.
