The Hon Minister for Works and Housing Hon Francis Boakye Asenso has promised the people of Tema and its environment that were affected by the recent flooding that the Government will do everything possible to solve this problem and also assured them of government support for them.
The Minister spoke to the media yesterday after inspecting and assessing the extent of damage to properties caused by some floods following Sunday’s downpour within the Greater Accra Region.
Some places visited by the Minister with Mr Abu Ramadan NADMO Deputy Coordinator, GT Accra NADMO Coordinator, Hon Nii Adjei Tawiah, MCE for Korle Klottey, Hon Carlos Ahenkorah, MP for Tema West and staff of his ministry were Circle, Avenor, Nungua, Teshie, Osu and Tema Community five(Church Village).
On his part, the Hon MP for the people of Tema West Carlos Ahenkorah also pleads with his people to have patience with the Government and at the appropriate time, all the flooding issues will be resolved.
