The Chelsea forward has been with his family in Surrey since missing England’s 3-0 win over Senegal in Sunday’s World Cup last-16 game, following a break-in at his home.

But he is now set to be available for selection for England’s momentous encounter against world champions France as he flies back to Qatar on Friday.

It remains to be seen whether Sterling, who was benched in the 3-0 win over Wales before leaving Qatar, returns to the starting line-up against France.
