Manchester City beat Inter Milan 1-0 in a tight Champions League final to become European champions for the first time and secure the treble.
They are the first English club to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season since city rivals Manchester United in 1998-99.
Midfielder Rodri scored the winner in the 68th minute to secure the trophy for City at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
City owner Sheikh Mansour was in attendance, his first competitive City game for nearly 13 years, as they claimed their first Champions League title, which has been a major aim for the club since the Abu Dhabi takeover in 2008.
The victory was secured after losing midfielder Kevin De Bruyne in the first half to injury. The Belgian was replaced by Phil Foden on 35 minutes, the second time he has left a Champions League final early having had to go off in the 2021 defeat to Chelsea due to injury.
After a goalless first hour, the goal came when Manuel Akanji played through Bernardo Silva, who got to the byline and cut back to Rodri and the Spanaird calmly placed the ball into the net.
In the final few minutes, City keeper Ederson made an incredible save at point-blank range from Romelu Lukaku before a further stop from virtually the last passage of play of the game.
This was Pep Guardiola’s third Champions League victory as a coach and his first since he lifted the trophy with Barcelona in 2011. It is also the second time he has won a treble, having done so with Barcelona in 2009. It was his fourth final as coach after City lost to Chelsea in 2021.
The club have confirmed Guardiola and his squad will parade the three trophies back in Manchester on Monday evening.
