Ghana’s Black Queens’ journey to next year’s TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations(WAFCON) Morocco 2024 will begin in Rabat on Thursday when CAF conducts the draws for the upcoming competition.
The live Draw for the 2024 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be held on Thursday, 06 July 2023 at 18h00 local time (17h00 GMT) live on CAF digital platforms and CAF TV partners.
The Black Queens were ousted from last year’s competition in the preliminary group stage by old foes, the Super Falcons of Nigeria in a two-legged affair.
The Super Falcons defeated Ghana 2:0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena in Lagos whereas Black Queens retaliated with a 1:0 victory at the Accra Sports stadium but was not enough as Nigeria advanced with just a goal difference.
