Hawkers operating at Winneba station in Ghana’s central region are demanding the provision of toilet facilities from authorities.

Despite diligently paying taxes, these vendors face the daily struggle of finding suitable places to ease themselves.

The absence of basic amenities not only undermines the dignity of the Winneba hawkers but also poses significant health risks.

There is therefore the need for an urgent action from authorities to address this pressing issue and ensure the well-being of the vendors who contribute to the vibrant economic activity at Winneba station.
