At the 5th Anniversary of the State Interest and Governance Authority Awards ceremony, TDC Ghana Ltd. was proudly decorated with an unprecedented five distinguished Public Enterprises League Table (PELT) Awards for 2022 and 2023.

 

This august event took place at the Rock Hotel in the Kwahu Mountains of the Eastern Region.

The report of the Public Enterprises League Table evaluates performance of the enterprises and fosters a healthy competition for development.

 

 

The awards were conferred in categories that highlight the exceptional performance of TDC Ltd, including the “Dynamic Effects – Innovative” award, where they excelled for both 2022 and 2023, SOE of the year 2022, Most Compliant SOE 2022 and Dividend Paying 2023
These accolades, according to tbe Board Chairman, Hon Kofi Brako, who received the awards on behalf of the company, serve as a testament to their dedication to maintaining industry standards and the unwavering commitment to excellence.

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo, who addressed the closing ceremony, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work by some of the Public sector entities.

He congratulated the award winners, like TDC Ltd, and said their achievements should be a celebration of excellence of their innovation and commitment which should encourage other Enterprises to do more for the progress and development of the nation.

The President acknowledged various challenges facing some specified entities and said no challenges are unsurmountable, if government remains committed to supporting the Enterprises in restructuring and partnerships where necessary.

He said the awards should inspire each and every citizen to drive a posotive transformation wherever they serve.
