Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, reassured the chiefs and people of Kenyasi Number One in the Asutifi North Constituency in Ahafo region that their ongoing road construction would be completed before the December 2024 election.

Dr. Bawumia, speaking at a courtesy call on the Chief of Kenyasi Number One, confirmed that the contractor assigned to the project would soon resume work, with asphalt layering set to begin in the coming days.

“Nananom, I understand the importance of the Kenyasi road to this community,” he said. “I have spoken to the contractor to ensure the project is completed before the December polls.

“Within less than a week, the first layer will be laid, and the road will be in better condition. The contractor’s equipment has arrived, so trust me, we will have it tarred before December 7.”

Dr. Bawumia also emphasized his commitment to education in the constituency, pledging to improve both access and quality for all residents.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bawumia has kicked off day two of his tour in the Ahafo Region, where he will visit the remaining three constituencies: Asutifi North, Tano North, and Tano South.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer plans to engage with local chiefs, pastors, imams, and party supporters, presenting his vision and outlining reasons he believes Ghanaians should entrust him with their vote.
