Dr Kingsley Nyarko, Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation Board (NAB) has been honoured with an award at the 2020 African Quality Awards Ceremony.
The well attended, colourful and prestigious event came off at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel- Kumasi on Sunday, 12th January 2020 at 3:00 pm.
micjoy ADVERTISING (MJA), the organizers of the event presented Dr Kingsley Nyarko with this laurel for his exhibition of profound dynamism and unflinching commitment toward the promotion of tertiary education in the country.
In a short speech, Dr Nyarko indicated that he was grateful for such an honour bestowed on him, and this achievement could never have been possible if not for the support of the dedicated and hardworking staff of NAB and his family. Furthermore, he mentioned that the task of NAB to establish and improve quality tertiary education through accreditation and quality assurance has been possible due to the institution’s insistence on its core values such as professionalism, integrity, responsiveness, excellence and innovation. In addition, he opined that his determination also stems from the need to support the President and Education minister so that their agenda to ensure that every Ghanaian child has a quality education and access becomes a reality.
The African Quality Awards Ceremony is an annual event which has been in existence for about ten (10) years with its aim being the motivation of society toward the contribution to the socio-economic development of the nation through the recognition of individuals and institutions whose contributions to national development have marks of distinction.
Some high profile personalities that micjoy ADVERTISING (MJA) has rewarded with similar plaques in the past are former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, Togbe Afede, Nana Otuo Siriboe II and Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
