The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Mr Ignatius Baffour Awuah has cautioned Ghanaian workers to desist from using working hours to practice their faith.
He said what has even worsened the situation is the culture of begging in our society.
According to him such individual behaviours do not promote productivity in the country.
The Minister delivered a keynote address during 2day of the 2020 National Productivity Awareness Campaign organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations and its subsidiary agency, the Management Development and Productivity Institute (MPDI) in Accra.
The Minister of Employment and Labour Relation, Ignatius Baffour Awuah indicated that he will be personally visiting various institutions unannounced to check on workers attitude toward work.
Taking his turn at the event, the Vice Chairman of the event, Dr. Lawrence A. Kannae, mentioned that the government of Ghana have rolled out a list of initiatives to better the lives of the average Ghanaian.
He further added that as stakeholders, the renewal of mindset should be spread by working a bit harder.
