The leadership of the Western North NPP Regional Women’s Wing, has called for peace and unity among all voluntary women’s group in the region in order to prosecute effective campaign.

On 7the March 2020, the NPP WNR Women Wing through the Regional Deputy Women’s Organizer, Janet Danso known in the political terrine as Maa Jane held a meeting with the Executives of all Voluntary Women’s groups in the region, precisely in Sewfi Wiawso Constituency.

In attendance were: Mr. Samuel Adu Adjei the regional Organizer, Mrs Janet Danso, deputy regional women’s Organizer, some women’s wing patroness, executives of Loyal Ladies, Staunch Queens, Top Ladies, NPP Maidens and the Constituency Women’s Wing.

Maa Jane admonished the leadership of these groups not fall to the temptation of competing each other but let peace and unity prevail among them. The NPP as a party has only one competitor and it is the opposition NDC and hence must remain as such.

Maa Jane also used the occasion to thank the women for their readiness and high spirit of patriotism to work for another NPP victory come 7th December, 2020. She also expressed the readiness of the regional women’s wing to work with all: winning the 2020 elections will need all hands on board and so, the regional women’s wing is ever ready to work with voluntary group to secure the maximum votes for the NPP in the region.

Finally, Maa Jane advised the leadership of these voluntary groups to lead the campaign for the new voter registration and ensure that every NPP member and sympathizer, especially the women register for the voters register.
