The MCE for Abuakwa North, Hon Owusu Twum Ampofo a.k.a Joe Pataku, this morning, praised the Chief of Tafo, Osabarima Edusei Peasah IV and the chief of Kukurantumi & Adontenhene of Akyem Abuakwa, Daasebre Boamah Darko II for giving him every support throughout the disinfection exercise in the municipality.
The two chiefs moved with the MCE and the spraying gang throughout Old Tafo, New Tafo, Kukurantumi, Osiem and other areas where the exercise was done.
Hon. Owusu Twum Ampofo aka Joe Pataku, also praised the Prez, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for good leadership and hoped for more of such.
Market women really supported the exercise by keeping off the markets to make way for smooth exercise. Some of them who spoke with Kumwuramhene expressed gratitude to the Prez and their MCE for not leaving them out in this national exercise.
They called for intensification of education to make them adopt the practices of fighting COVID19 i.e. Social Distance, Hand washing and the use of Hand Sanitizer. They prayed for the mercy of God to wipe away the disease from the soils of Ghana.
