The Central Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives has donated 1000 pieces of veronica buckets,water bowls,100,505 pieces of hand sanitizers,100 boxes of liquid soaps,50 boxes of antiseptics and other items to all the 23 constituency chairmen’s in the region to distribute them to some identifiable groups such as fashion designers,hairdressers, mobile money vendors amongst others in their respective constituency.
The donation which took place in the Regional Party Headquarters in Cape Coast was done according to social distancing protocol.
Presenting the items various constituency chairmen’s, Regional Secretary for the party (NPP) Mr Richard Tayir Mensah explained the motive behind the donation.
He indicated that, due to covid-19 pandemic outbreak,regional party executives has urged all the parliamentary aspiriants to suspended all the social gathering campaign activities until further notice.
