The Ministry for Food and Agriculture taskforce has commenced its operations in retrieving and regularising its lands which has been encroached by unauthorised persons across the country.
Today, the taskforce took its operations to Amrahia Diary Farms which was established by Dr Kwame Nkrumah as a demonstration farm which houses cattle and sheep within the Greater Accra enclave.
Speaking to the Press Secretary for the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Alhassan Issah Ridwan indicated that the land is over six hundred acres purposely for the activities of the Diary Farm including grazing, demonstrations and housing of staffs.
Moreover , the farm is the main source of fresh milk for factories for production of yoghurt and production of meat in the country.
The Greater Accra Director of Operations, Chief Superintendent Kwasi Ofori led his men and provided heavy security for the demolishing operation to be carried out successfully, Kwasi Ofori later spoke to Omanfmonline.
