The NPP member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, Hon Nana Marfo Amaniapong on Saturday 14, Inspected 9 units SHS classroom block at Kyekyewere which is under construction.
The project according to the MP, is funded by the MP’s common fund and little donations by some natives of Afigya Kwabre.
The Senior high school project will serve the people in and around Boamang, soko Kyekyewere, Afigya, Offinso, Ahenkro, Tetrem and some nearby sister municipalities in the Ashanti Region.
He was happy at the level of completion of the projects adding that, the building is under 98% completion thus, students will be sooner enrolled.
Speaking to Offinso based Time FM news caster, Kaakyire Kwasi Afari, the NPP member of parliament, Hon Nana Marfo Amaniapong lauded Kyekyewere community for the establishment of the Afigya Senior High School with their own resources.
He added, the community establishing the senior high has motivated him to construct the 9 units classrooms to add up the school facilities for massive enrollment.
The Afigya Kwabre North MP said, the President Nana Addo’s free shs policy will help enroll more JHS graduates to have access to free and quality education in the country thus, his quota of constructing the school building is to help drive the policy.
