The Ghana Badminton Association has received equipment from it’s mother body worth 200,000 dollars ($200,000) to support and promote the sports in schools.
The association has been promoting and developing the sport is schools and this news comes as a great motivation to them.
Speaking to Accra based Radio Station Oman fm, Mr Evans Yeboah President of Ghana Badminton Association , “almost 500 equipments has arrived in the country and it will be distributed to both private and public schools to promote the Badminton in School program”.
The Association is yet to clear the sports equipments from the harbour.
