Minister of Lands and Natural Resources says the land for the construction of the National Cathedral is ready for construction to begin. He said there are no issues on the such land.
Answering questions when address the meet the Press series in Accra Mr Asumah-Cheremah said ban on the harvesting and exportation of rosewood is still in force.
He refuted claims that government intends to burn any rosewood impounded by the forest guards. He said government will find alternative use of the products when impounded.
Cheremah called on the MP for Bulsal South Dr Clement Apaak to assist the investigating team to help arrest the alleged 27 trucks in his constituency loaded with rosewood.
