The Black Stars of Ghana had their last training session at the Petro Sports Centre in Suez ahead of their last group game against Guinea Bissau at the Suez Sports Stadium on Tuesday,2nd July 2019

The Black Stars team trained today without Christian Atsu who sustained an injury in their game against Cameroon last Saturday, Thomas Agyepong who is also recovering from an injury also did some recovery training with the team’s physical trainer.

The rest of the players trained fully and are all ready for selection on Tuesday to see Ghana’s qualification into the next round of the Afcon 2019.

The Youth and Sports Minister,Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah and representatives from Government were all at the training grounds to motivate the team and urged them to victory against Guinea Bissau in their last group game.

The team’s physical trainer also worked on Jonathan Mensah who is also trying to be fit and ready for the last group game against Guinea Bissau

The team rounded it up with their usual jama session and also pleaded with Ghanaians to continue supporting them with prayers. They also promised to do their best to qualify to the next stage.

Ghana is in group F with Cameroon,Benin and Guinea Bissau,with Cameroon leading the group with 4 points,Benin and Ghana with 2 points each while Guinea Bissau has 1 point

The last round of matches in group F will decide the teams that will qualify to the next stage of the competition from the group.
