The Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffo (Abronye D.C) has noted that, he inconveniences and frustrations Ghanaian prospective pilgrims had to endure before embarking to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a thing of a past under President Akufo-Addo.
He said the delay of flights to airlift pilgrims have been eradicated through prudent measures put in place under this regime and argued that, all scheduled flights now arrive on time unlike before.
Chairman Abronye together with the Bono regional secretary Mr Kofi Ofosu Boateng among other party execitives today visited the Muslim communities in the Bono Region to observe the festive eid-ul-adhar celebration.
The areas visited were Berekum Municipal and Berekum West respectively.
Chairman Abronye opined that, this is the first time Ghana has recorded an incident free pilgrimage and the N.P.P government is willing to do more for the Muslims communities in Ghana.
