In a significant move to boost healthcare delivery in Ghana’s central region, the Intereach Global Community Project has partnered with the Enyan Denkyira Traditional Council to construct a Health Assistance and Nurses Training College.

This ambitious project aims to promote quality healthcare education and improve the overall well-being of communities in Enyan Denkyira and beyond.

Speaking at a ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Center, Dr. Cosmos Stephen Kwabena Adjei, Group CEO of Intereach Global Community Project the organization’s vision is to enhance the quality of life in underprivileged areas through targeted community projects, educational programs, and healthcare initiatives.

The project, valued at over $1 million, is expected to be completed in phases, with the first phase finishing in 2026.

The college plans to start its first batch of enrollment in 2026, marking a significant milestone in the region’s healthcare development. Dr. Adjei appealed to the local Member of Parliament, who also serves as the Finance Minister, to support the project’s smooth completion.

Obaatanpa Nana Efua Okruw I, Amankora Hemaa of the Enyan Denkyira Traditional Area, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming Nurses Training College, highlighting its potential to bring numerous benefits to the community.

Upon completion, the college is expected to create employment opportunities for the local population. Additionally, it will stimulate economic activity, providing a market for local businesses to cater to the needs of students and staff.

The Amankora Hemaa emphasized the college’s role in motivating the youth to take their studies seriously, encouraging them to strive for better grades and pursue higher education. With the college located in their midst, young people will have access to quality education and a brighter future.

Seizing the opportunity, Obaatanpa Nana Efua Okruw I appealed to all sons and daughters of Enyan Denkyira Traditional Area, both at home and abroad, to rally behind this noble cause and support the development of Amankora into a thriving community in the Central Region.
