Asante Kotoko managed  a narrow one nil victory over Ivorian side San Pedro Fc in the first leg play off 1st leg encounter at the Baba Yara stadium.

The game which was played within a two day period saw the conclusion of the game after it was rained off in the first day which was Sunday 27th October 2019.

On Sunday, the first half of the match failed to produce any goals as both set of keepers proved their credentials in between the sticks.

In the rescheduled encounter which saw the two sides play just 45 minutes, Kotoko laboured a lot but were rescued by a very late Naby Keita penalty after mercurial striker Sogne Yacouba was brought down in the box.

The return leg will be played in Abidjan on Sunday, November 3
