COVID-19 fight is a collaborative effort between the government and Ghanaians and to help his indigenes in case of hunger in future, Nana Amankwaah Otu Amponsem II( Kokofu Aboaso Hene ) in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti region has released 50 acres of land and planted maize with his residents to solve any future famine or hunger.

Nana Amponsem who is six months on the throne believes that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected many jobs and investing in his people it’s imperative.

He therefore liaise with Bekwai MOFA and have planted the maize saying his town would be hub of maize supply in the municipality as have spent over Gh 30,000 cedis ( old 300 million cedis) for this viable project and after harvesting would do more to engages his folks.

Finally Nana Amponsem advised his people living outside to also come and support the developmental projects agenda started by him and his elders.
