The incumbent member of parliament for Ofinso South constituency in the Ashanti region, Hon. Ben Abdullah Banda has seriously advocated for more votes to be given to the current parliamentary candidate and his defeater, Dr Isaac Yaw Opoku.
Hon Ben Abdullah Banda however charged unsuccessful incumbent MPs and parliamentary aspirants of the NPP to actively get on board in the 2020 campaign to help avoid voter apathy in the December 7 elections.
He said they must join forces with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the aspiring members of Parliament so that the road map for the party will be achieved.
Speaking at the Patriotic Gents compaign lunched program program at Ofinso on Sunday he said, the party needs a resounding victory for the President, Dr I.Y Opoku and many other MPs. He therefore urged everyone to put in 100 percent effort so that the road map is achieved.”
He, however, stressed the need for unity at all times saying; “a house divided by itself cannot stand”.
