The Procurement and Supply Division of the DVLA has chalked yet another magnificent feat at the 6th edition of the Africa Procurement and Supply Chain Awards, 2024, at a ceremony held in Accra.

The Procurement and Supply Division, under the distinguished and immaculate leadership of the Deputy Director ( Head), Amb. Prof Robert Tay, picked two prestigious and enviable awards, being the Public Sector Procurement and Supply Chain Team of the Year, in the Gold category as well as the Excellence in Procurement Operations (SOE) award.

The organizers of the program opined that the DVLA as a foremost stakeholder has over the years driven excellence as well as motivating innovation which has nurtured a positive impact of the profession on businesses and therefore deserved to be accorded the highest Group Award in the Public Sector.

The Deputy Director ( Head) of Procurement and Supply, Amb Robert Tay said the innovative and effective operations of his sector have been amplified by these awards which will serve as a morale booster and will spur the members on to dizzying heights and become the centre of excellence and innovation in the industry.

He said the DVLA has subscribed to the use of smart gadgets and the application of high knowledge in its activities which has inured to and culminated into their present high state of operations and endeavours.

He said the skies are their starting point and they will strive to chalk more laurels for the DVLA establishment and the country as a whole.
