Bishop Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha, have been fined a total of GH₵12,000 by an Accra Circuit Court for their failure to properly regulate their son, which led to the tragic deaths of two girls. Each was fined 500 penalty units, equivalent to GH₵6,000.
The court, presided over by Her Worship Bernice Mensimah Ackon, also ordered the couple to compensate for damages, including the destruction of a light pole valued at over GH₵8,000.
Additionally, the parents face a separate case in another court, where they have been charged with permitting an unlicensed person—specifically their 16-year-old son—to drive.
