Justine Agbenu, one of the victims of the tragic East Legon accident, has been laid to rest after a burial service at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra on Wednesday.

Justine and her friend, Maame Dwomoh, were involved in a fatal car crash on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at East Legon in Accra.

A 16-year-old son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, crashed his white Jaguar into a Honda Acura the 12-year-old girls were travelling with.

A candlelight vigil was held for the two on Friday, October 18, at the intersection of Dzane Ashie Street and Mensah Wood Avenue, where the accident occurred.

Maame Dwomoh Boaten was laid to rest on Saturday, October 19, at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Accra.

The burial service for Justine Agbenu took place this morning with her family, friends and sympathizers who were in attendance clad in black and white.
