Pep Guardiola has discussed Manchester United’s decision to part ways with Erik ten Hag after a poor start to the season and bizarrely compared his sack to the firing of “architects, doctors or teachers”.
“I feel sorry for him,” Guardiola remarked. “I don’t see architects, doctors, or teachers who get the sack, people expect results from us. If I didn’t get results I wouldn’t be here, it is a business. you have to take results.”
