The much-anticipated coronation ceremony of Torgbi Mileba III will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Tackscorner School Park. This historic event will bring together chiefs, citizens, dignitaries, and well-wishers to celebrate the ascension of Torgbi Mileba III as a custodian of tradition and leader dedicated to the progress of his people.

The day promises a beautiful display of cultural heritage, featuring traditional rites, music, and community unity. Chiefs and paramount and political leaders from the three traditional councils will join with citizens and distinguished guests to honor Torgbi Mileba III and affirm the ongoing relevance of chieftaincy in fostering peace, unity, and development in contemporary Ghana.

The program will include remarks from prominent leaders and dignitaries include Torgbui Addo VIII Paramount Chief of Klikor Traditional Area, Torgbui Amenya Fitti III Adzongaga, Paramout Chief of Aflao Traditional Area and H.E. Amb. Prof. Hugh Keku Aryee, Vanuatu Trade Commissioner to Ghana, who will address “The Importance of Chieftaincy in Development.”

Highlights of the ceremony will include a special address by Torgbui Amenya Fitti III on “The Relevance of Chieftaincy in Contemporary Ghana: Emphasis on Peace, Unity, and Development.” Following this, the coronation rituals will be led by the Klikor Traditional Council, with Torgbi Addo VII presiding over these sacred proceedings.

A Call for Unity and Development

Torgbi Mileba III and the elders will also make an Appeal for Development Funds to support initiatives that promote social and economic progress. Torgbi Mileba III’s vision is to enhance educational opportunities, infrastructure, and community programs, creating a brighter future for all.

ABOUT TORGBI MILEBA III (DUFIA OF TACKS-CORNER)

Torgbi Mileba III, known in private life as Kwashie Azalekor is, is the Divisional Chief (Dufia) of the Taskcorner Electoral Area, Klikor Traditional Area of the Volta Region succeeding Torgbi Mileba II from the Ametorwoshie gate.

Torgbi Mileba III began his career with the Ghana Police Service in Accra, initially enlisting as a constable. With a strong commitment to law enforcement, he pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Education degree in Management Studies and later a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Following his legal studies, he attended the Ghana School of Law, Makola, where he successfully completed his Bar exams and received his professional certification as a practicing lawyer (BL).

Throughout his career, Torgbi Mileba III has enhanced his expertise through numerous legal and prosecution courses, both locally and internationally, elevating his performance in his role as a Superintendent of Police. Today, he continues to serve in the Ghana Police Service while practicing law. Torgbi Mileba III is married and a proud father of five children.
