Honourable Ken Ohene Agyapong has once again shown his unwavering dedication to fostering unity and supporting Muslim communities across Ghana with his annual donation in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. This year, he donated 336 bags of rice (50kg each) and 500 bags of rice (5kg each) to Muslim communities nationwide, continuing a tradition that has become a hallmark of his generosity.
For over a decade, Hon. Agyapong has ensured that Muslim families can celebrate Ramadan and Eid with dignity and joy, providing vital support to those in need during this sacred time. His consistent donations reflect his deep commitment to faith-based communities and his broader efforts to promote national unity.
During the donation event, the well-known businessman and Member of Parliament emphasized the importance of national cohesion, saying, “We must uphold the values of peace, unity, and dignity.” He also shared a personal reflection on the strong ties he shares with the Muslim community, underscoring his dedication to supporting them.
The donation was coordinated with the help of Muslim leaders, Zongo community elders, and youth groups to ensure it reached the families most in need, from urban centres to remote villages. Many families were able to celebrate Eid in a more meaningful way thanks to the generosity of Hon. Agyapong.
In gratitude, the Imam and elders present offered prayers for Hon. Agyapong, seeking divine protection, strength, and wisdom for his leadership. The atmosphere of the event was filled with unity, reflection, and appreciation, embodying the true spirit of Eid.
