Well wishes from all scores of people, including very high profile personalities are pouring in for firebrand politician and Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as he turns 60 today.
Among such high profile personalities is the Vice President of Ghana, H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who chose to celebrate the vociferous NPP stalwart and business mogul in a unique manner.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday morning, phoned in to a live radio show where the celebrant was present to surprise him with his birthday message.
“I’m just calling to wish him a happy birthday. 60 years is not an easy journey. May God grant him long life and good health. We are all celebrating with him. Everyone knows he is a good friend of mine. We all appreciate the good works he is doing to help the party and all Ghanaians. He is a good person,” the vice president expressed on Oman FM Tuesday morning.
A very surprised Kennedy Agyapong expressed his appreciation for the gesture shown him by the vice president.
“I thank the Vice President. That is a surprise way of appreciating me. I will always continue to support you anytime. Thank you and God bless you,” the 60-year-old Kennedy Ohene Agyapong expressed.
