Looking at the standards raised by the current Vice President and running mate of the New Patriotic Party Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC selecting Prof Jane Opoku Agyemang as its running mate gives no contest to Dr Bawumia looking at his economic prowess and accurate date driven analysis as compare to an English teacher with no economic and communication skills.

Dr Bawumia took a well-verse economic scholar Paa Kwasi Amissa Arthur, the former Vice President to the cleaners on any economic issues and his inability to defend and respond to questions raised by Dr Bawumia became a major blow to the National Democratic Congress hence their humiliating defeat.

Now, per the standards of Ghanaian politics the running mates move boot for boots whiles the flag-bearers moves head-on, but looking at Prof Jane Opoku Agyemang a novice in economic management gives the “Walewale Adams Smith” a free hands to operate and take John Mahama thereon paving way for the president Akufo-Addo to have a free time.

The planned policies and pragmatic government interventions rolled-out, Ghanaians are now well off under the Akufo Addo led government and Jane Opoku Agyemang a political clueless running mate can not turn the fortunes around for the NDC.

The NPP promised among other things, to change the education system to free education, a philosophy of one district-one factory, to construct one village-one dam, to change from the abolishing of trainee allowances to the restoration of trainee allowances with all these said and done together with NABCO among others the future looks brighter for the NPP.

John Mahama who is on political life support because of his corrupt identity needed a competent hands to safe his sinking political career than to score an own goal.
