The National Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Kate Abena Gyamfua has provided some resources such as Cutlasses, bales of clothing and washing items to the 18 women organisers and their deputies in the Volta Region.

The gesture by the National Women’s Organizer of the ruling party was to encourage the women to work hard in their respective areas in order to change the narrative of Volta Region being the World Bank of opposition NDC.

The resources included working tools as well as some amount of money to enable the women organise their activities before the 2020 general elections.

At a brief meeting in Sogakope Shekinah Glory Hotel, Madam Gyamfua urged the women to work in unity so as to ensure they wage a better campaign aimed at maximising the votes of the party’s flag-bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and its parliamentary candidates in their various Constituencies.

On the other hand, the Regional Women’s Organizer Hon. Rejoice Afi Agyagbo promised the National Women’s Organizer that Volta Region is now a “Microfinance Company” of the NDC but not withstanding, the Regional Women’s Wing is battle ready to undo the NDC Party in the Region.

Later in the day, the National women’s organiser joined by the Regional Women’s organiser, Hon. Rejoice Afi Agyagbo and all the constituency Women’s Organisers donated hospital items to the Sogakope District Hospital in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.

Present at the ceremony was the NPP Constituency Chairperson of South Tongu Hon. Grace Ekuttu Acheampong and Parliamentary Candidate ( DCE) for South Tongu Constituency Hon. Joseph Ahadzi.

The items donated consisted of hospital consumables, drugs, detergents, toiletries and water.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital Administrator and the Manager of Nurses, at the Sogakope District hospital commended the NPP women for the gesture and also call for more of such from NPP.
