Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah says all is set for the 63rd Independence Day celebration at the Ashanti Regional Capital Kumasi’s Baba Yara Sports Stadium .
Speaking to Omannews, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah said the committee set up has done a delight job and is sure of a victorious celebration.
According to the Minister, because Ghana is doing everything possible to prevent the entry of the deadly coronavirus into the country, the 63rd Independence day celebration committee together with the authorities of the Ghana Health Service has also place in measures at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to educate the crowd on preventive measures.
Hon. Simon Osei Mensah also said because people may be exchanging greetings, he entreats that they are with sanitizers to wipe their palms after greetings.
The Ashanti Regional Minister further advised all those who will be attending the 63rd Independence celebration to obey the protocol arrangements for the programme to run smoothly.
