Mourners, sympathizers and well-wishers from all walks of life continue to eulogize the memory, personality and professionalism of the late Martin Kwabena Kwakye, (Wofa KK), the former Director of Radio at Oman FM, a subsidiary of Kencity Media Ltd.

The latest of the grieving visitors to throng the premises of Kencity Media located at Madina Zongo Junction, to express their sympathies to the media group and his family, were the Management of Citi FM and Citi TV.

The delegation was led by the Managing Director, Samuel Attah-Mensah and the General Manager, Bernard Koku Avle.

The late 54-year-old Kwabena Kwakye was the pioneering Director of Radio at Oman 107.1 FM since its inception in 2007.

He was the host of the late-evening political analysis show, The Boiling Point, as well as an analyst on the morning show on Oman FM.

He passed away on Wednesday, February 14, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre after a short illness.

In brief remarks, the Managing Director of Citi FM/Citi TV acknowledged the longstanding relationship between both media houses, both professionally and on a personal level.

He commented on the decades-long commitment, professionalism and dedication of the late Wofa KK to the development and growth of the media in Ghana.

The Director of Television at Kencity Media, Ken Agyapong Jr, who received the delegation, stated that the vacuum created by Wofa Kwakye’s passing would be felt; however, he believes other staff will rise to the occasion.
