A parliamentary hopeful of the New Patriotic Party for the Madina constituency, Mr. Robert Lamptey popularly referred to as Okumkom has appealed to the party faithful and supporters in the constituency to start mobilizing and canvassing for votes for the party ahead of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
He made this clarion call after a health and unity walk organized by the Madina branch of the New Patriotic Party over the weekend, to boost the physical, mental and overall well-being of the party supporters in the constituency.
The parliamentary hopeful for the Madina constituency was speaking to the media after the health and unity walk under the theme Energizing our Base for 2024.
Mr Robert Lamptey was of the opinion that the NPP can break the 8-year presidential cycle, through hard work and affirmed his belief in the chances of the party, stating that with the impressive attendance exhibited, the people of Madina are ready to take the seat from the NDC.
Mr. Robert Okumkom Lamptey, assured the party supporters, members and constituency executives of NPP in the Madina constituency to remain focused, united and work together in order to reclaim the seat.
