Speaking at the launch, the sector minister, Alan Kojo Kyerematen who launched the portal noted that, the Ghana Business Regulatory Reforms Portal is an interactive portal to enable policy makers easily consult affected businesses and individuals in a transparent and timely way and at considerable cost savings.

It also provides open and transparent access to business regulations, through its electronic registry of acts, legislative instruments, Regulatory notices, administrative and directives, procedures, forms and fees.

He said this portal will allow businesses anywhere in the world to easily view and obtain every business – related law and regulations in force in Ghana and the electronic registry (E-Registry).

According to the Sector Minister, the Portal will also enable government to work in consultation with the private sector to anchor doing business reforms on a permanent and sustainable basis in line with the vision of the Ghana Beyond Aid.

The purpose of this reform is to create an investment-friendly, transparent and predictable policy environment that would help business thrive.

The Trade and Industry, noted that, with the vision of the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo to make Ghana the preferred place to trade and do business this regulatory reform portal is in to help bring that vision of making Ghana the most businesses friendly in Africa possible.
