Mohammed Kudus has been nominated for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month for December 2023!

The Ghanaian was in flying form over the final month of last year, helping the Hammers to secure four wins and a draw from six Premier League outings.

Vote for Kudus to win the December award now here!

Kudus found the net four times in those fixtures, first netting the opening goal in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the start of December. The 23-year-old met Vladimír Coufal’s first-time pass with a cool finish inside the box to give the Hammers the lead.

The No14 then scored twice in the Irons’ 3-0 home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, first breaking through on the counter-attack to slide past goalkeeper Dan Bentley from 20 yards before slotting home calmly for his second after latching onto a Lucas Paquetá through ball.

Another finish would come a week later, in the 2-0 win over Manchester United at London Stadium. Kudus would receive the ball from Paquetá again and strike a fantastic effort on his right foot and into the bottom corner to secure the three points.

Also nominated for the December award are AFC Bournemouth duo Dominic Solanke and Marcos Senesi, Cole Palmer of Chelsea, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Wolves’ Matheus Cunha, Michael Olise of Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min.

Voting for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month for December 2023 is open now and closes on Monday 8 January 2024 at 12pm GMT. The winner will be announced on Friday 12 January at 11am GMT.
