The General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, who has been charged for threatening to kill the self-acclaimed evangelist, Patricia Oduro Koranteng, a.k.a. Nana Agradaa, has been granted bail by the Accra High Court.
According to reports, Lawyer Gary Nimako secured the bail sum of GH 200,000 and two sureties for the Man of God.
Rev Owusu Bempah and four others; Mensah Ofori, Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum were arrested by the police on Sunday for issuing threats, brandishing weapons, and attacking Police officers.
They were subsequently hauled before the court presided over by Her Honour Afia Owusua Appiah, on Monday.
Rev Owusu Bempah and Mensah Ofori were charged with two counts of offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and threat of death while the remaining three were charged with assault on a public officer to which they all pleaded not guilty.
They were however remanded into police custody.
The embattled Man of God, according to sources fell ill a few hours later and was sent to the Police Hospital, where he was treated and discharged back to the police cells to continue with his one-week remand.
