The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of a man who was captured damaging the ‘Big Six’ monument and several signposts at the Airport Roundabout in Accra.

The individual, Newwel Gavu, is now in Police custody awaiting prosecution.

The Police in a press statement released on Saturday 31st August, 2024 praised the vigilance of the public and Airport security which contributed to the suspect’s arrest.
