President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday commissioned 3 newly completed offices for some municipal assemblies in the Ashanti Region.
The municipal assemblies include the Suame Municipal Assembly, the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly, and the Asokwa Municipal Assembly.
The president who commissioned the assembly offices was in the company of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah, some municipal chief executives of the municipalities involved, traditional leaders and executive officers, and supporters of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region.
The municipal assemblies some of which have been newly created have had the challenge of working space in previous years and the new office complexes have been constructed to provide the needed working environment for the assemblies to effectively discharge their duties.
President Akufo-Addo was in the Ashanti Region over the weekend where he attended as the special guest of honor at the just-ended National Annual Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party held at the Heroes Park in Kumasi.
