Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah; Minister for Communication and Digitisation, Ursula Owusu Ekuful; and Roads and Highways Minister, Kwesi Amoako Attah have been left out as President Akufo-Addo names 19 cabinet ministers.

The 19 include three females, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional integration Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah and Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture development, Mavis Hawa Koomson.

The list also comprises 12 members of Parliament including the Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abdulai Jinapor and the Minister of Works and Housing, Francis Asenso Boakye both of whom are first time MPs and served as Deputy Chiefs of Staff in President Akufo-Addo’s first term.

The Speaker of Parliament read the list to MPs as communicated to him by the President.
