Ali Suraj, a Political Assistant at the Office of the Vice President has given thumbs up to the leadership of President Akufo-Addo for keeping the economy in shape, with almost six months in office in his second term, despite the ravages of the covid-19 pandemic.

A leading activist of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ali Suraj also justified the continuation of Zongo Development Fund policy, highlighting the enormous benefits the Zongos and Inner Cities are deriving from the policy.

Ali Suraj made these observations in an interview with NET2 TV NEWS on the performance of the second NPP administration under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo so far, with almost months into office, reminding Ghanaians of the continued implementation of successful policies by govt.

He said he had no qualms with the #fixthecountry campaign, though he said he differed in their opinion.
He said the govt should be commended for steering the nation during these pandemic times.

The former parliamentary aspirant for Asutifi South constituency used the occasion to justify the continued implementation of the Zongo Development Fund, placing emphasis on the opening up of opportunities for those residents in the Zongo and Inner Cities across the country.

On the covert and overt tussle for political positions in the NPP, Ali Suraj called for discretion at the moment as it is too early for that.
He opined that presently, the Akufo-Addo administration is focused on seeing through its policies, which any NPP aspirant would use as part of its strategy in any future elections.
