Residents of Ntobroso near Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti region goes wild on Wednesday as unknown 14 fake soldiers besieged Ntobroso, Aniamoa enclaves for monies distortion from small scale miners saying they are been sent by officials from Minerals Commission as in course of process one miner by name Derick Oduro 37 years old in attempt of running for his life felt in a galamsey pit and died instantly.
Briefing the media, Hon Charles Nsiah( Assembly Member for Ntobroso/ Aniamoa Electoral Area said his folks were annoyed as the fake soldiers demanded a lot from the miners and with citizen vigilante prowess calls for police assistance and hence the arrest to Regional Police Headquarters for action.
Hon Charles Nsiah appeal to the government as well as the Assembly to intensify the security in their areas as they have been experiencing a lot of attack from unknown people due to the mining.
