The Minister for Roads, Hon. Kwesi Amoako Atta, MP for Atiwa West, has inspected ongoing road projects at Damongo, in the West Gonja district in the Savannah Region.

Currently, Ten (10) kilometers of Damongo town roads are, earnestly, undergoing construction.

Fifteen(15) kilometers of asphalt overlay of critical roads in Damongo township are to commence in the not so distant future, while several feeder roads are set to be upgraded and improved.

President Akufo-Addo, through his Minister for Roads, this year is embarking on a mass rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads across the country via the year of roads policy.

The Savannah Region is a major beneficiary of this effort as Damongo, has and will continue to receive its fair share of government’s infrastructural development.
